Support for Caregivers and Family on the Dementia Journey

A reminder that the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia offers a network of Caregiver Support Groups. These groups offer a safe environment where you can learn, share, and help each other through mutual understanding.

They are a good place to:

  • Exchange and share information and  support
  • Expand friendship and social networks
  • Decrease loneliness and isolation
  • Express feelings
  • Learn from others
  • Access current information

Virtual Care Giver Support Groups for Bridgewater and Lunenburg are now taking place every 2nd Tuesday of the month via health care for zoom.

For more information please contact the info line at 1-800-611-6345 or  Carrie Frazier at cfrazier@hvh.ca

Virtual Education is also available at www.alzheimersociety.ca/ns
