Long Term Care Proud

June 26th begins a campaign of recognition for the staff in Long Term Care and the work they do. The Nursing Home Association of Nova Scotia views this as an opportunity to offset the negative media attention on Long Term Care facilities and refocus on the dedicated workers and valued services provided in the province. Let’s take this opportunity to celebrate the good work done in Long Term Care facilities in Nova Scotia.

HVH has purchased t-shirts to commemorate the occasion, as have many provincial nursing homes. HVH staff wear their t-shirts today with pride, celebrating and supporting one another. Residents have also joined in a visual show of unity and positivity for all LTC workers in Nova Scotia.

I hope visitors to our website enjoy the pictures we’ve posted in support of our staff and our organization.
