Lobster Dinner
For 3 weeks in August, HVH hosted the Futureworx program as students training to become CCAs completed their long-term care placement.
This was HVH’s third time hosting Futureworx student placements. We look forward to welcoming them again in 2023. On their last day of placement, students participated in the Virtual Dementia Tour which simulates the experience of a person living with dementia.
The purpose of the tour is to provide students with insights into the struggles of living with dementia while encouraging them to practice respect and uphold the dignity and independence of their future clients/residents/patients.
