Resident Menu Committee
The Resident Menu Committee met twice in June to try resident-submitted recipes or ideas and included stewed rhubarb with biscuits, chocolate zucchini cake, and rice pudding. These items were sampled and well-liked; to be added to the regular menu rotation. Residents enjoyed over the weekend the newly added Beef & Barley Soup that was previously suggested by a resident, “it was the best beef and barley soup I ever had!”. The Resident Menu Committee will meet again in July to sample the recently suggested Cabbage Rolls and a variety of pudding/custards.
