Quality Report - November
Going forward, we will be including an update in the monthly newsletter to better inform residents and families of HVH’s Quality Improvement Activities.
What is Quality Improvement?
Quality Improvement (QI) is a continuous assessment of our care and services to look at what works well and where we need improvement. QI activities are person-centredand aim to improve the quality of life for those that live at HVH.

Upcoming PACE Training
PACE is a point of care risk assessment and safe mobility training program planned for November and December. PACE is an approach that all HVH staff will utilize by looking at a resident’s physical status, communication level, environment and potential behaviours in order to provide safe care and services.

Through a combination of staff, volunteer and community efforts, our programs are designed to offer residents a broad range of group and individual opportunities to enhance their physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual quality of life. We are thankful to our dedicated volunteers who support our programming throughout the year.
