Quality Report: Accreditation Update

Harbour View Haven is proud to be an Accredited facility, the first in our area since 2001. During our last onsite survey in March 2020, we were awarded with the highest exemplary standing.

What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is on-going, voluntary process of assessing our services and programs against national standards of excellence to identify what we are doing well and what

areas we could improve on. Areas of focus include medication management, resident and staff safety, resident/family satisfaction with programs, services, and meals, falls management, wound care and leadership practices to name a few.

Update of Progress:

Our accreditation teams are meeting regularly to go over action plans to ensure on-going quality of programs and services offered here at HVH. We look forward to sharing more information on some of the incentives we are working on including new considerations for virtual health care.
