This Month’s Feature:
Point Click Care – Electronic Documentation
Historically, Harbour View Haven has used paper forms of documentation for all resident care records and related documents. As of the spring, HVH implemented the program, Point Click Care to accept pharmacy orders and record medications electronically. Over the next few months, the team plans to transition all
documentation related to resident care to the program.
In partnership with PCC, education for the care team is currently being coordinated. HVH policies around electronics use and confidentiality have been adjusted in
preparation for these changes and will also be included in staff education.
