Quality Improvement Update

Harbour View Haven is excited to announce that we are currently building a sensory garden space for our residents. This area will be in the main garden park off floor one but available to all residents, family, staff, and volunteers. The garden will include a wheelchair accessible bed, a variety of herbs, flowers, visual aids, and tactical items all meant to stimulate the 5 senses.

Sensory spaces provide opportunities for social participation, relaxation, and promotion of overall well-being. Thank you to our Therapeutics Department for your input, excitement and willingness to run sensory garden
programming in the up-coming months.
