Just close your eyes and say a prayer
To our Heavenly Father of love
For the sun that shines
And the rain that falls
From His Heavens up above.
He makes the sun that shines for us
Each day so beautiful and bright
To watch the rays of colour
As it goes down each night.
Just watch the sun as it’s going down
In the bright blue sky each night
As we pray to Him for another nice day
And thank Him for everything bright.
So now we know who made the stars
The sun, the moon and the light
And pray and thank Him every day
To watch over us every night.
