January is Alzheimer's Awareness Month

A reminder that the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia offers a network of

Caregiver Support Groups. These groups offer a safe environment where you can learn, share, and help each other through mutual understanding.

They are a good place to:

• Exchange and share information and

support

• Expand friendship and social networks

• Decrease loneliness and isolation

• Express feelings

• Learn from others

• Access current information

In Person and Virtual Care Giver Support Groups
are now taking place every 2nd Tuesday of the month.

For more information or to register please

contact the Alzheimer Society info line at

1-800-611-6345.

Virtual Education is also available at www.alzheimersociety.ca/ns
