Hand Hygiene Awareness
Every quarter the management team completes hand hygiene audits to measure our compliance with evidence- based hand hygiene standards. This means that we track whether our facility is meeting an acceptable standard of hand hygiene through anonymous observation of the 5 moments for hand hygiene. This fall and winter we are launching a Hand Hygiene Awareness Campaign.
This will include more education, observations, coaching and talks during department meetings. Raising our compliance rate is a team effort, across all departments; and we plan to work together to continue improving our rates this fall and winter.
